The Justice Reform Foundation wants to share this story from Aris Folley on the introduction of a long-awaited bill on the legalization of marijuana in the Senate. Justin Magnuson, president of the JRF, was himself a victim of stringent marijuana laws and hopes this legislation is a step in the right direction. It is acts such as these that bring us closer to helping those serving sentences for nonviolent marijuana offenses rebuild their lives beyond the war on drugs.
